This traditional procession is a vibrant and joyous celebration where the groom, accompanied by his family and friends, makes a grand entrance to the wedding venue. Expect lively music, dancing, and a lot of festivity as we celebrate this exciting moment. It will then move onto the Milni, which is ceremony usually involves the male members of both families meeting each other and exchanging garlands or shawls. It often includes the groom’s family being warmly welcomed by the bride’s family. Followed by some snacks prior to the Hindu Ceremony starting.

Ceremony

A Hindu wedding is a deeply spiritual and joyous occasion that blends mythology, tradition, and family values. The ceremony will feature a series of time-honored rituals, each symbolizing different aspects of the couple’s journey together. Highlights include: 1. Vivah Homa (Fire Ritual): A sacred fire is kindled, symbolizing the divine presence and the eternal nature of the couple’s union. 2. Kanyadaan (Giving Away the Bride): The bride’s parents offer her hand in marriage to the groom, signifying their blessing and acceptance. 3. Saptapadi (Seven Steps): The couple takes seven steps together around the holy fire, each step representing a vow and a commitment to one another. Throughout the ceremony, you will witness the exchange of garlands, the tying of the mangalsutra (sacred necklace), and the sharing of vows.
