What is the dress code for the wedding events?

Welcome Party: Dress is semi-formal for the Welcome Party, Traditional attire is highly encouraged. Colors will be bright and vibrant. We’ll be dancing and celebrating! Pre Wedding Events: For the Haldi Ceremony, please wear shades of yellow and for Mehndi, please wear shades of green. Indian Wedding Ceremony & Reception: Formal, Traditional attire is preferred but optional. Women may wear sarees, lehengas, or salwar kameez, while men can opt for kurtas, sherwanis, or suits. More details of colors and styles are on the "attire" tab!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I KNOW I WON'T BE ABLE TO MAKE IT?

You will be dearly missed! We understand that the distance might be a challenge. Since our RSVP is open - please RSVP no at your earliest convenience and at the latest by April 1st 2025.

What time should we arrive?

Please arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the ceremony begins to ensure you are settled and ready. This will also give you time to find parking and get comfortable.

Will transportation be provided between events?

Transportation details is included on the accommodations tab. We highly encourage rental cars and the use of Ubers and Lyfts.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow the people named on your invitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Can we bring children to the wedding events?

We love children, but please note that the wedding events will be adult-focused. Unless your invitation specifically states otherwise.

What is there to do around the area?

The iconic Space Needle for stunning city views and the vibrant Pike Place Market for fresh seafood and local crafts. There is also Kerry Park. Enjoy a relaxing day at Alki Beach with its scenic waterfront and recreational activities. Take a short drive to Woodinville Wine Country for excellent wine tasting and exploration of local wineries. Additionally, Seattle’s diverse international cuisine scene - so make sure to come hungry.

What is Dinner and Drinks looking like?

Saturday's dinner will be a fusion of Indian and American. Enjoy a diverse menu featuring both savory Indian dishes and classic American favorites. To top it off, drinks are on us with an open bar, so you can toast to our special day without a worry. We look forward to celebrating with you!
